The urn is then placed gently on the water, where it floats briefly before sinking and breaking down naturally over time.

A water soluble bag and scattering instructions are included. The ribbon closure secures the urn with no glue needed.

How long does the urn take to sink?

This urn is designed to float briefly before gently sinking, however float time will depend on specific water and weather conditions, as well as the amount of ashes placed inside. Adding the fuller amount it's designed to hold will help the urn submerge in a timely way.
